Explore South Ari Marine Protected Area (SAMPA), one of the best places in the Maldives to encounter whale sharks.

Departure: 06:00–06:30 AM from Malé. Enjoy a scenic 2–2.5-hour speedboat journey to South Ari Atoll.

Our fully equipped speedboat features an onboard toilet, freshwater shower, indoor and outdoor seating, an upper sun deck, and complimentary snacks, soft drinks, drinking water, and all snorkelling equipment.

The highlight of the trip is searching for whale sharks in their natural habitat. You may also encounter manta rays, nurse sharks, sea turtles, and dolphins. While wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, South Ari Atoll offers some of the best opportunities in the Maldives.

Around midday, you'll visit a local island to enjoy an included lunch and experience authentic Maldivian island life.

Requirements

Participants should be comfortable swimming in open water.
A reasonable level of physical fitness is recommended.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Guests should follow all instructions provided by the guide and crew.
For your comfort, we recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a change of clothes.
Guests with medical conditions, limited mobility, or who are pregnant should consult us before booking to ensure the trip is suitable.
Wildlife encounters are never guaranteed, as all marine animals are observed in their natural environment.
The excursion may be modified, delayed, or cancelled due to unsafe weather or sea conditions.

Course Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees: For a full refund, you must cancel at least 30 days before the experience’s start time.

If you cancel outside the free cancellation window, a cancellation fee may apply. This fee could be a percentage

of the course fee or, in some cases, the full course fee, depending on the timing and the provider’s specific terms.

No Refund for Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made on the day of the course or later than 24 hours of

the scheduled start time are typically non-refundable.

Mid-Course Cancellation: If a guest begins the course and chooses to cancel partway through, 50% of the full

course fee will be charged. This amount is considered non-refundable and will be collected in advance before the

course begins.

Provider-Specific Policies: Each dive center or provider may have its own specific cancellation terms. It’s

important to review their individual terms and conditions at the time of booking to understand any additional fees

or restrictions.

Communication: If you need to cancel or reschedule your course, please notify the dive center or provider

as early as possible. Prompt communication will help clarify any applicable policies and minimize potential

penalties.

Standard Cancellations: Full refund for cancellations made at least 07 days before the scheduled departure

time.

50% refund for cancellations made after 07 days window time.

No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure.

Weather Conditions: In the event of unsafe weather conditions, we may cancel the trip and offer a full refund or

rescheduling at no extra cost.

No Shows: Failure to arrive at the departure location on time is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.
