Buoyancy Control Device (BCD)

This agreement is made between Dive Club Maldives (DCM) and the rentee, hereinafter referred to as the lessee, for the rental of scuba and/or skin-diving equipment.

Lessee Responsibilities

•The lessee must operate the equipment carefully and properly and comply with all laws and regulations governing dive operations in the Maldives.

•The lessee confirms that the equipment has been examined and found to be in good working condition, free from defects, including verification of the quality and

quantity of air in any rented scuba tank.

•The lessee agrees to maintain the equipment and all accessory gear in a safe and dependable condition throughout the rental period.

•The lessee must not use, or allow others to use, the equipment for any unlawful purpose, in a careless or negligent manner, by any person under the influence of

alcohol or controlled substances, or by anyone who is not equally qualified.

Liability and Charges

The lessee is responsible for any fines or penalties arising from violations of the law. Any charges related to the impoundment or retrieval of the equipment under this

agreement, together with any lost rental time, will also be charged to the lessee.

Risk and Return of Equipment

The lessee assumes all risk of loss or damage to the equipment from any cause and agrees to return it to DCM in the same condition in which it was received, allowing

for normal wear and tear.
